Geovid HD - for perfect observing and measuring. Already legendary - and now improved. The laser rangefinder, built into each new and improved Geovid HD, is now capable of accurately measuring distances of up to 1400 yards (1300 metres) and in doing so, takes the guess work out of range assessment. Our legendary optics, have also been improved with the use of Flouride glass for even better definition, brilliance and contrast resulting in a perfect "two in one" tool for the modern stalker. In addition the new AquaDuraTM lens coating repels water and dirt to make them even easier to clean and use in extreme weather conditions.  All 56 mm models feature improved light transmission from the new Flouride glass and water repellant AquaDuraTM lens coating. The Leica Geovid 8 x 56 HD and the 15 x 56 HD are optimised for twilight and low light conditions via their 56 mm lens diameter, and both are unparallelled in terms of lightness and compactness. They deliver images that are extremely rich in contrast, colour neutral, and sharp from edge to edge. They open up a new dimension in viewing and identifying the finest details over long distances - especially in poor lighting conditions.
